Mission: Target Community is a nonprofit organization committed to organizing social activities for youth and children, while working to develop and support educational initiatives in Baa Thulhaadhoo.
Vision: A stronger, more connected Thulhaadhoo community built on teamwork, leadership, and shared success.
Target Community (F/2015/117/6) is a non-profit organization registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs on 30th November 2015. Our community is made up of childhood friends united to work towards a better and brighter future for Thulhaadhoo. Our simple mission is "Together We Achieve", and we aim to inspire the youth by promoting and supporting social and recreational development on the island.
We have a strong track record of community engagement, having actively participated in the global 350 Climate Change Project by 350.org. Our activities include tree planting, cleaning coconut palms, organizing awareness programs, and cleaning reefs to support sustainable reef fisheries. We also collaborated with Four Seasons Resort Maldives, Landaa Giraavaru, to conduct conservation programs for turtles and sharks—species vital to the hospitality industry. Together, we raised awareness on the island through banners, hangers, and petitions urging residents to protect marine life. In partnership with Four Seasons, we also helped establish a Turtle Stadium now used by the Thulhaadhoo community.
Target Community has also taken initiatives to promote and develop young football players through our annual Under 15 Futsal Tournament. We organize the Target Children’s Festival each year to encourage children to showcase their talents in a family-friendly festival atmosphere. We also support and assist other clubs and individuals who share our goal of building a brighter future for Thulhaadhoo.
